Hi, my name is Zabi and welcome!

I graduated in the summer of 2016 with a great degree but without a sense of direction and a large student debt. Finding a stable job with a decent career progression seemed like the only logical choice. But after months of job hunting and reflection, I came to the realisation that it wasn’t for me.

Luckily for me, I came across selling used books on Amazon and a whole heap of business ideas opened up. It was then that I realised I wanted to start and build businesses. And the rest is history as they say.

Why did I start this blog? Well, just as Gary Vaynerchuck got me selling on Amazon, he also inspired me to start this blog and document my journey, hence the name Zabi’s Journey.

I am by no means an expert in any of the domains I talk about, but I hope that by sharing my experience I bring you value. Especially those of you just starting out and in need of some guidance.

Here are some of the topics you’ll find on this blog

  • Matched Betting
  • Selling on Amazon using FBA
  • Multichannel selling
  • Private labelling and branding

Ready to dive in?

Alright, cool. Let’s get specific.

Matched Betting

I did Matched-Betting many years before I started selling on Amazon. It’s not a proper business as such but it is a great way to make a few thousand pounds. The great thing about Matched Betting is that it’s low-risk. Why? Because you are taking advantage of sign up and promotional offers that bookies offer.

Amazon FBA

Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) was a great logistical invention. Through FBA you can build an ecommerce empire without ever having to store, pick, pack and ship your inventory. Amazon can take care of all that including customer service for a fee.

Here the different ways you can sell on Amazon — all of which have names based on how the products are sourced.
